Interest Audit
The top three area that I am interested in are Investigative, Social and Conventional.
Meaning that I enjoy doing works that solve problems by using critical thinking. I am also a person that like helping and learning from other as well, this helps me solving problems by feeling and observing other’s point of views. The last but not least, I also prefer working with logic, working something that shows information like Data and arrange it logically. Thus, I found myself enjoy building new routines in order to solve problems.
Career Values
I value career that has stability, autonomy and balanced lifestyle. Having just two of mentioned career values is pretty much I want already. For example, job that i wanted, software developer, this career is stable as technology walks forward and it is paid well also. This job is also an independent job as well since sometimes, I can work on my own project in order to increase the skill in developing applications as well. Even my other career value is a balanced lifestyle, and the job which i will be taking, doesn’t balance a flexible lifestyle, I still want to do it and willing to adapt to get it fit in my lifestyle.
Skills Audit
Currently, skill that I both enjoy and already have strong ability to do, is Computer Literacy which include coding and solving minor to medium problems related to computing devices. I have that computer skill because I took Software development class last year (2018), and I also went through several online tutorials about programming as well.
By doing some application work, it seems like I need to increase my ability on some skills that I enjoyed such as analyzing things, working under stressful situation and managing the projects.
I will involve in volunteer jobs in order to fill skill gaps that I need to develop. Volunteer jobs will give me the experience of working as a group, see how people manage the works and learn from them and get through difficult works by analyzing the problems and implement solutions. I also need to read more about analyzing and managing articles or books, so that I can have more idea and I will be able to increase the level of ability that I need.
